This year for Benjamin's Birthday part instead of doing it the weekend before or on Memorial Day weekend, we decided to wait and do it the weekend after (first weekend in June). It's a good thing, because the weekend before and Memorial Day weekend it was raining! And this weekend was perfect! We had so much fun. This year the Theme was Toy Story! And I decided to go a lot simpler than last years
Train Party. I was super glad for that! The party started with me making balloon animals (yes, I make balloon animals!), then we played games, had lunch, busted the piñata, had cake and ended with Benjamin opening his gifts! It was really fun! Here are the highlights!..
I made the cake the night before. Benjamin loved his Buzz Lightyear spaceship cake!
Toy Story Bowling, bean bag toss and pin the badges on Buzz and Woody. Thanks Uncle Pete and Brigham for helping!
Some of the guest that came were of course Benjamin's friends and some siblings Here is Raquel, Raul, Benji, Dillon, Amanda, and Aaron. (The Jaimes boys came later, as well as Sariana, and Camille; but I forgot to get pics)
Uncle Pete, Aunt Whitney and cousin Hazen were there!
Uncle Ruben, and cousins were there
Nena, Tito, Rosi, Lily and her girls were there
Dad was on the grill!
Abby and Samantha
So cute!
Grandma and Grandpa were there
Here is a better pic of that "Pin the badge on Buzz and Woody" Game and here is cousin Lindy trying to do it.
My mom (coolest Grandma ever!) of course made the Piñata. It was Ham from Toy Story, or as Benjamin likes to call him "Evil Dr. Pork Chop!"
Cake Time!
We had a bit of a challenge with the breeze, but Benjamin did get to blow out a few candles.
Yummy cake!
And of course, Benjamin's photo op. with Woody and Buzz! This was such a fun addition to the Party!
