Mexico

Well, today is the day we were suposed to get on a Plane and take a 10 day Vacation to Mexico. We were going to see Mexico City and then spend time with my Grandparents in Jalapa, Veracruz. The picture is of the beautiful Lakes right behind their house. But, because of the Swine Flu we decided not to chance it, especially with our kids. Then, we decided we were going to go to New York instead... until everything in our house started breaking down. So we decided instead of going on vacation and then going into debt to fix everything, we are going to use the vacation money to fix everthing and starting next week Isaac is going to take 2 weeks off work and we will be having a "Staycation." We hope to make it fun and relaxing. But for now, I am thinking of beautiful Mexico and my Grandparents. (Sigh)....

Happy Father's Day

I just want to say Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband! One of the reason's I married him is because I new he would be a wonderful Dad! And he is. He takes pride in providing for his family and his children ADORE him. Benjamin want's to be just like him and is always trying to do things just like him. And Isaac always makes time for him, and plays with him and takes him to the Pool and to play Basketball. Even Abby adores him, she just lights up and gives him the biggest smile everytime He starts talking to her. I love you Mi Amor! Thanks for being a wonderful Dad!

I also want to share this Video with everyone. It made me cry. Please watch it. It is so Beautiful. If you can't see the video here on my Blog, click here to see it.

And here is that awsome Mormon add again... Makes me think of those wonderful Dad's out there.

Arlen is Here!!

Yea!! After a 1 and 1/2 year wait, she is finnally here! Fred and Arlen have been engaged for 1 and 1/2 years and have been waiting for her Visa and she finally got it! She arrived about a week ago and today they both arrived here in Utah. Here they are at my house holding Abigail. They plan to be married on August 29th but it is not set in stone quite yet. But it will most likely be that date. We are soo excited! and so happy to finally have her here with us.

Also, earlier today Benjamin was "shooting hoops" as he often does and then we noticed that he was actually practing his "form"!! It was sooo dang cute we had to film it! Enjoy!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Don't get me wrong, I actually love the rain and think it is great that we have so much this year. But because I live close to a lake we have tons of Mosquitos. But usually during the day, it's not that bad. However, because of the rain and clouds and cooler weather, the mosquitos are out all day!!! Well, poor Benjamin is getting bit all over. One even bit him on the eye lid and he woke up this morning with a swollen eye. My poor little guy.

On a happier note, Abigail discovered her vocal cords this week. She's been super vocal. Here's a little of it on video. Followed by some of her smileyness. (Your welcome Grandma)

Lake Tahoe

Well, the first weekend in June we were invited to my cousin Pamela's wedding. They were married at Lake Tahoe, so it was a fun little weekend get away. We went down a couple of days early and were able to visit some of our old friends who live in the Reno area. The picture above is of the beautiful Lake Tahoe. I am actually stading at the spot where they were maried, overlooking the Lake. Isn't it amazing?! Unfortunately however, this picture was taken the next day. The day of the wedding it was raining cats and dogs! So the view on the day of the wedding wasn't quite this spectacular but, it was still a beautiful wedding and we are soo glad we were able to be there. I wish I had more photos, but taking care of our two little ones prevented me from getting more pics. But here are a few of the ones I did get. Congratulations Pam and Brent! We are so happy for you guys!

The Happy Couple

(This pictures were taken inside the beautiful cabin, because of the rain)

The cousins (that were there)

Chatting with the bride during dinner

(Dinner was super yummy!)

The garder

Fred caught the Garder!

Instead of catching the garder it was "passed on to him"
(because he is the next to get married)

A shot of the tent that the reception was in, it was soo beautiful!

(And there is Benjamin in the corner, he danced his little heart out, as always, and was the entertainment for the night. Everyone got such a kick out of him)

He finnally got tuckered out

Another shot of the lake the day after

Benjamin & Isaac pose on the balcony of the cabin

Also, we got to spend a day with Cylee & Mike. It was soo fun to get caught up. It was just like old times. Here we are with our baby girls!

Granados and Pressley Family

The day before the wedding our old friends (who also live in Reno) had a baby girl! So we got to visit them in the hospital. Congratulations Becky & Chad!
