Last Saturday we went to the Heber Valley Railroad and spent a day out with Thomas the Tank Engine! Benjamin was in Heaven! Abby loved it too, thanks to her big brother she also loves Thomas! They had a little mini carnival type set up with a few different activities. For the price I was expecting more, but Benjamin absolutely loved it so it was worth it. Especially being able to see the "real" Thomas in person!

5 Year Anniversary
Today Isaac and I completed 5 years of marriage. And, as most of you know, Isaac and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary by going on a cruise last month. We went on a cruise for our Honeymoon, so it was so fun to be able to go again 5 years later. This is the picture that we had taken on the formal night. I love these pictures because it kinda feels like our "prom picture." And it is such a fun souvenir. It's a little pixilated because I had to scan it in. But it is a beautiful print. And even though it is the only cruise picture we buy. I think it is worth it. Below is the one we got on our Honeymoon. (I guess we have changed a little after 5 years ;) )
Anyway, I can honestly say these last 5 years have flown by! He truly is my best friend, my soul mate, my media naraja. And although sometimes we are so busy that some days we seem to only see shadows of each other, there are those times (mostly weekends) when he is still my night in shining armor! And despite the craziness of having small children, it has been the best 5 years of my life! Thank you Isaac Granados for loving me, for helping me, for being there when I need you, for making me feel like the most beautiful girl on earth, and for making me laugh every day.
Below is one of the best video's I've ever seen. And you know what else is funny about this video... it actually makes me cry. I know, stupid, but you'll see. (I suggest you watch the Taylor Swift "Love Story" video first.) It is EXACTLY how I felt before my Romeo whisked me away on our totally Romantic Second Honeymoon! Thank you Mi Amor! I LOVE YOU!!!

Pre-school Graduation
Benjamin Graduated Pre-school! I never thought I would have such a young graduate! Of course, he has two more years of Pre-school to go. But it was a fun little evening anyway. He loved it! First there was a small program, where the kids presented a few topics from what they learned over the past few months....
First the younger kids presented Transportation! A tractor, a train, and a Bus. Then they sang "The wheels on the Bus" (in Spanish of course)Benjamin is a Tiger! And then all the kids sang "Los Elefantes"
The older kids also presented other topics but I only have pictures of the ones Benjamin was in.

All Aboard!
The Cake
The Engine
I used a big diaper box from Costco. The face is the top of an oatmeal can, and then I used elastic for the staps, attached with big brads (find at any craft store).
The Train
The Decor
Last Saturday we celebrated Benjamin's 3rd Birthday with a Train themed Party! His Birthday is not actually until the 30th but we celebrated early for two reasons, 1. Memorial Day weekend is not a great weekend for a B-day party and 2. that weekend we are taking him to Day out with Thomas. Anyway, once again, yes I made everything myself! Crazy, I know. But he loved it! So I guess it was worth it! This little boy has been literally counting the days to his Birthday since Jan. So he was in heaven! It was a very fun party, and although you may think I went overboard, believe me I know people who are way worse than me, so I didn't think it was way overboard, but oh well, we had sooo much fun! Thank you to everyone who came and for all the great gifts! He really loved his Birthday party! Turning three is such a fun thing! Anyway, my friend Yadira took pictures for me (since I was way to busy) so there are a ton! Thank you Yadira for your help!
We started the party giving everyone their hats and whistles and then we had Story time "The Little Engine that Could."
Then they played Pin the Caboose on the Train
Then the kids painted Egg Carton Trains!
They turned out great!

Our Vacation!!
A little more than a week ago we got back from our fabulous vacation!! We decided that we really wanted to go on a cruise (again) and do it without the kids. It was hard for me (I've never left them before), but it was worth it. We had a great time! We found a great last minute cruise deal for a little 4 night cruise out of L.A. We wanted to keep it low cost so we drove out and everything worked out really well! We drove out on Sunday and boarded the boat Monday afternoon. We had two stops and one day at sea. We got back Friday and spent the day at Disneyland and drove back on Saturday. We had so much fun. A huge THANK YOU to Isaac's mom, My Mom, and Arlen for taking care of our kids while we were gone. Here are some highlights...
We have arrived!
The top of the boat and the inside. This is a "smaller" ship, but it was still pretty amazing.
Our first stop was on Tues. morning at Catalina Island. This little Island was so charming!! We completely fell in love with it! This also where we did our first excursion... Parasailing!! It was so fun and the girl who had my camera took way to many pictures but here are a few....
After Parasailing, we had lunch on the balcony of our Cruise boat and then went back to the Island to explore the little town a bit more.

Later that evening we had our "Formal" night. I love this night, I feel like I'm at Prom! And this is also Lobster night!! It was soooo good!
The next morning was stop number 2 at Ensenada, Mexico! The Sea lions were litterally 20 feet from our cruise ship! The other picture is of the coast line, our excursion for this stop drove us way out to La Bufadora where we went...
KAYACKING!
And the excursion ended with some amazing fish tacos! After that we did some shopping in town. It was a really fun day!
Our last day we were at sea all day while the boat made it's way back to L.A. I forgot to take pictures that day, but it was a really relaxing day! We went to the gym, slept, ate, watched a movie, and laid out by the pool. Then on Friday morning we were back in L.A. got off the boat as quickly as we could and spent the entire day at Disneyland!! At first, I felt a little guilty about being at Disneyland without my kids, but it didn't last long! It was Isaac's first time at Disneyland and he was really able to enjoy it. We had a blast and were able to do just about everything we wanted to. It's amazing how fast you can move without kids. ;) And again, way to many pictures so here is another slide show....
