Happy Halloween!

Halloween was super fun this year! For one thing, it was Abby's first Halloween trick-or-treating! She loved it! Halloween for us started on Wednesday, with Halloween story time at the Library. It ended on Saturday with Trick-or-treating. Because Halloween was on Sunday this year everyone here in Utah trick-or-treated on Saturday. I am so grateful to live in a place were the majority of the citizens observe the Sabbath day as a day of worship. Anyway, on Thursday we had a Halloween party at our Pre-school. Here are some of the kids in there costumes. We couldn't get all of the kids together in one picture and Abby refused to get close to the Ninga Turtle for the picture. She was terrified of anything in a mask, including team mascots (I'll explain below). But it was a lot of fun!

Here is my awesome Pumpkin Cake I made for the Party!

Then on Friday night we went to the Halloween Extravaganza at the Rec. Center! It was fun. Here we are trick-or-treating at the booths around the upstairs track! Everyone got a kick out of Benjamin's home-made Thomas the Tank Engine costume!

In one of the gyms they had all kinds of games and prizes to win like this one shooting hoops! Benjamin nailed it! Even with his big bulky box he was wearing! That's our boy!

In another gym they had balloon animals, face painting and all the mascots from around the state! Cosmo (BYU Mascot) even dressed up as Robin!

Here's Benjamin with the Orem Owlz Mascot. As you can see I stayed away with Abby. If we even got close she would start crying hysterically! It was actually kind of funny.

Saturday Morning we carved Pumpkins! This was a first for our kids, but they didn't like all the mushy stuff inside so Mom and Dad ended up doing most of the carving.

Later that evening we braved the rainy weather and headed to my brother-in-laws trunk-or-treat at their ward.

Someone there was dressed as Elmo and the kids got a huge kick out of it. Remember, how I told you Abby is terrified of Mascots? She wasn't of this one! She kept following him around! Anyway, see the big rain cloud behind us?, about two minutes after this picture we got pounded by a huge hail/rain storm!

So we packed up and headed to Isaac's parents house, to visit with grandparents and see if the storm cleared up anytime soon. We got some cute pictures of the kids while were were there. Aren't Benjamin's striped overalls the cutest?! My mom found them at Smithfield Implement! Thanks Mom! They were perfect. I can't even tell you how many compliments we got on his costume!
Here is the back of Abby's costume! She was such a cute little Butterfly! I especially love how you can barely see her little face poking out!

Well around 7 pm the rain stopped and we hit the streets! It was a blast! The kids especially like trick-or-treating with their cousins!

Here's Aaron and Benji knocking on a door. What a fun night!

When we got home Abby didn't even want to eat her candy she just wanted to dump it all out and then put it back in her basket over and over.

And here is Benji with his stash! Except he only gets to keep what is in that zip lock bag.
Happy Halloween!

Congratulations Missy & Robert!

This is Missy! and her new hubby Robert! Yesterday she and her sweetheart were married in the Logan Temple. It was a small, intimate ceremony but it was beautiful and such a wonderful occasion. They were sealed by the Temple President who was also Robert's Mission President. It was really special! I have known Missy almost my whole life and she has been the closest thing to an older sister that I have ever had and we actually call each other sisters, because that is the way it has been for us for the last 20 years! I just adore this girl and am sooo happy for her and Robert. Both of them have been through so much in order to get to this happy day, so it was all the more sweet! Congrats you two! We love you so much!
Here they are coming out of the Temple. This Beautiful little garden is new since Isaac and I were married here 5 years ago! I love it! Wish it was there when we got married.

When she came out Benjamin ran to give her a hug! He just loves her to pieces!

Whitney and Pete came to congratulate Missy. Here are the kids with her and Grandpa Gary

Here is Missy with her Mom Patsy and the other picture is with all of Missy's closest girlfriends.

Here is our family with Missy. We all just love her!

Here's Missy with her favorite little Man! Doesn't he look good in his new suit!

After all the coo's of how cute Benjamin was in the picture, Abby decided that she wanted to be in the picture as well.

And here we are!

Here are the kids in front of the Garden with cousin Hazen

They decided not to have a Reception. Just a small dinner at a local Restaurant. Missy's friend/co-worker made her this wedding cake! I was super impressed!

Baby Hazen

This is a weird picture of me. But enough about me... This is Hazen!! My newest nephew! He is two weeks old in this picture. He was born to my brother Peter and Whitney Loveday. He is a little angel! We are so excited that he is here!
Here are some pictures from the Baby Shower! Fred and Arlen got him the Mickey overalls when they went to Disneyland and my Mom made the quilt! Doesn't Whitney look beautiful?! We Just love her and sometimes I wish I could dump Peter and adopt her into the family instead. But, she is the mother of my nephew so in my book, she is officially part of the family! We just love her to pieces. To bad Peter doesn't see what the rest of us do. She is simply amazing!

Aunt Beth sent money and Lexi and I had a hay day buying stuff for little Hazen!

Here are the kids meeting him for the first time! And they haven't stopped asking for him since!

Proud Parents!

I Love Elisabeth With All My Heart

My dear Elisabeth, I know I don't write on our blog ever but I feel today is a great day to do so and let you know how much I Love You. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Many people say that the mission is the best two years of their life but for me the 5 years I have been with you have been the best years of my life. I Love You like you can't imagine. You are the greatest wife who treats me right and takes care of me with some delicious yummy meals. You are the greatest Mom in the world. Our children (Ben & Abby) Love You to death just like I do. You take care of them, love them, play with them, and teach them to love the Lord and Daddy as much as you love the Lord and your Hubby.

You are my best friend and my eternal companion. I miss you when you are not here just like today and realize how much I love you. I am looking forward to the many years to come and the many more special children we will bring into this world. We will be the happiest eternal family in the whole universe. I LOVE YOU LIZ.

You're Husband ISAAC.

NY, NY South Mission Reunion

Last Friday we were able to attend Isaac's Mission Reunion! This is his Mission President and his wife! President & Sister Spackman! They are such amazing people! I have really enjoyed the two Reunions that I have been able to get to know them. And they always tell me such nice things about Isaac. We had a lot of fun this eavening! Everyone loved the name tags we put on our kids. "Future Elder Granados" and "Future Sister Granados."

This is not everyone that was there, but a good portion of the Sisters & Elders who once served together!

After that big picture, Abby wanted me to take her picture. This is her posing!
