My Friend Rebecca

This is my sweet friend Rebecca.  She, myself, Lyssa, and Michelle all practically grew up at her house.  We were all in the same ward in Hyrum and her mother and I had a very special bond.  She loved the Theater and was my biggest fan!  Later my best friend Marie joined the group and the 5 of us were pretty inseperable for most of our teen years.  Lyssa, Michelle and Marie all married pretty young.  I married at 24 and Rebecca was still single.  I always knew she would marry last.  But I never worried.  She is beautiful and kind and funny and whitty.   I knew she would marry and I always said it would be when she was 30.  Man, I was right on!  Above, she and I at her Bridal Shower.  She was married in April in the Salt Lake Temple to an Isaac!  (Not my Isaac).  He is a wonderful man and they are so deserving of each other.  I am so happy for her!  The ceremony was beautiful and I felt the presence of her mother there (as I am sure she did as well).  I am just so happy for her and can't wait to get to know her hubby better.
So beautiful!  What a handsome Couple!
Her darling nieces squealed in delight as they group hugged her.  It was cute!
Rebecca and her brothers, it's hard to believe everyone is so grown up!

Happy Easter!

This Easter, we started off with our annual Pre-school Easter Party!  It was a lot of fun!  Unfortunately I was too busy being one of the Mom's in charge that I didn't get very many pictures.  But it was a lot of fun!  We had games, a craft, lunch and an Egg Hunt!  The kids had a blast!
Abby loved wearing her Flower Head band.  (Playing an Egg Relay Game)
Benjamin Playing the Relay Game
Chick, Chick, Bunny (Duck, duck, goose)
Another Game

Then Later on that afternoon we went to a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt put on by our HOA.  This was fun and there were tons of eggs, but it was soooo cold!  And my Poor kids only had thin sweaters on!
Waiting to Start
They got a ton of eggs!  But all the eggs were exactly the same, Sour Jelly beans.  My kids did not eat any of it.  Sooo......

On Saturday we had our own egg hunt.  I do a special one for them, with their favorite candy (chocolate)
This one is their favorite
so cute!

My Pre-schooler can Read!

Can you believe it! He wont start Kindergarten until August and he is reading! This book that he is reading is the second time he read the book. The first time was just as good! I am amazed! His on-line pre-school has far exceeded my expectations. Isaac and I are so proud and pleased! Check him out!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Last Friday (the 23rd) I turned 31! I had a wonderful Birthday! Isaac came home with 2 Dozen Roses, my favorite chocolates, and a beautiful thoughtful card! Then we went out to eat at Tucano's! And he took me shopping and bought me a way cute shirt. He also bought me a carrot cake that we took to my in-laws on Sunday and everyone sang to me. He did a super good job! It was one of my best birthdays ever! Thanks Isaac! I love you!

All Smiles

Isabel is in the stage my mother likes to call "Her baby Prime." And it is so true! She is sooo cute! And soo smiley, and round and delicious! So I took some pictures on Sat. because Isaac said I haven't taken any pictures of her lately, and he is right, I am sooo busy with my kids and life that I forget to take pictures of her and she is growing and changing so fast! Hopefully there will be more pics soon. But here she is 5 months old!

Disney Room

Well, I finally finished decorating Benjamin & Abby's room! The finishing touch was framing the pictures we took at Disneyland. For Benjamin we framed the pictures of him with Buzz, Woody, Jesse, & Potato Head.

Woody is at the foot of his bed

And Abby's side is Princesses! She also had Pictures framed. Each is her with a different Princess at Disneyland. We got all but Aurora. (Maybe next time)

Grandpa Mike

Ever since my Dad was given 3 - 6 months to live, (He has Pancreatic Cancer) we have been trying to visit him more. One thing he has wanted to do for a while is take a Picture with all his Grand kids. So today Whitney drove down with Hazen (from Logan) and we were able to get all 5 of my Dad's Grandchildren together for a picture.
Of Course the one where all 5 kids look good, my Dad was not looking.

Going down! The kids did not want to go in front and get sprayed by snow, so Daddy went in front, but it looked funny!

A Common Sight

Happy March! So today I put the baby down on a blanket on the floor and sure enough within minutes Abby was by her side. This is a common sight at our house. Abby just loves her baby sister, so I decided to take a picture....

Then Benji joined and they made silly faces

Happy Birthday Princess!

Our little Princess Abby is 3!! How time flys! This year, because of our Disney trip we told Abby she would not be getting a big party. But somehow, she ended up with 3 little parties! Opps! Oh well, it was fun, and you know me... I love throwing Birthday Parties!
Party #1 - In my Disney Post, I already talked about the mini Party we had for her at our Condo at Disneyland

Party #2 - O.k. so this wasn't really a party. But Abby and her good friend Camilla have their Birthday's only 2 days apart. So Camilla's mom and I combined our efforts to have Cup cakes and ice-cream after Pre-school with all their Pre-school friends. They loved it!

It was quite a little group

Party #3 - was the Saturday after her Birthday and this was at our house. We decided to do this because we had been wanting to have a few of our friends over for dinner for some time now, and these friends happen to have daughters that are Abby's best friends. So we ordered lunch from this awesome Mexican Restaurant that we love and had the Budd's, the Bingham's, my in-laws, and sister-in-law Rosi (who also wanted to celebrate Abby's B-day) over for a super yummy meal and had a "little" party for Abby as well. And although it may seem that I went all out, I really didn't. All the decorations were borrowed from the party my Brother threw his daughter and there were only two of Abby's friends there. But it was fun, it was a Princess Theme! Abby was in heaven!
Another reason to throw a party is so I can make this awesome Princess Castle Cake! Here it is the night before. It came out great except for the fact that is started to lean. :(

I decided to have a Bibbity Bobbity Boutique (like they have at Disneyland) and get the girls all dolled up! We gave them necklaces, bracelets, sticker earrings, painted their nails, did their hair up and put glitter in their hair and I got them little tiaras, but Abby and Samantha had big crowns to wear, so only Camilla used the little tiara. Abby was the first "client" since we were waiting for the other Princesses to arrive.

Just like his shirt says.. he's the Big Brother! (who also wanted his picture taken) ;)

And of course we had to put Isabel in her Princess dress! (Belle)

For lunch the kids had Abby's favorite lunch, Hot Dogs, Cheetos, and apples.

Sitting in our "Salon"

The Girls getting Dolled up

3 little Princesses (Snow white, Cinderella, & Rapunzel)

These girls where so cute! It was fun watching them interact

We only played a couple of games. Pass the Poison Apple (like hot potato, but with an apple) and this Little Mermaid Race. (but I didn't have enough crate paper to make good fins)

After that the girls played "Tea Party" for a while, it was cute!

Then it was time for cake!

The girls were pretty excited!

Happy Birthday Abby!
We just love our little Princess!
