Frontrunner Trip & Temple Lights

Ever since they started running test trains back in June, Benjamin has been literally counting the days to when Frontrunner would open to the public and that day was TODAY!  The first day is always free, and Benjamin insisted that we go on the first day.  Of course it was a miserably cold day and the trains were way over packed.  But we finally got on in the morning and rode it down to Provo.  Then we went home for lunch and rode it North to Salt Lake in the afternoon to see the Christmas lights at Temple square.  It was really cold and snowing this day, but we still had a lot of fun!
Heading down to Provo
In front of the Train at the Station
It was a pretty impressive Train
Later we rode again with the Budd Family and went to see City Creek Center (the new mall) and the Christmas lights!
Bundled up and excited!
Me and Yadira!  I just love this girl like a sister!
With our girls
Heading to City Creek
Checking out the warm outdoor fireplace
It was pretty neat!
It got dark while we were there and it was fun to see the lights from the sky walk
The kids thought it was cool too!
We saw one of Santa's elfs too!
And then we headed over to Temple Square to see the beautiful Temple and all the magnificent lights!  Here are some of the beautiful pictures Yadira took (and they are not even edited!)  She is so talented!

And we watched the Nativity Scene

We love coming here at Christmas time!
The kids waiting for the Train to take us home.  Super long but fun day!
