Congrats Shad and Thelma

This is Thelma and our nephew Shad! A year ago they were married civilly and last Saturday they were sealed for all eternity! We are so happy for them. Shad is the 1st of the 26 grandchildren in the Granados to be married in the Temple and he married a great girl! She really is quite perfect for him. We are so proud and happy for them. The family was sooo excited for them that we all pulled together and helped to throw them another Reception! Isaac even became an Horchata making expert! It was such a fun day and the Spirit was very strongly felt and we are so Happy for them. Congratulations Shad and Thelma, we love you guys!

Benji and and I waiting for the happy couple to come out

All the guest that attended the sealing

Before the Reception the kids played a little "duck, duck, goose" (don't you love Abby's dress?!)

Here is Isaac and my mother-in-law. It was a great party, with dinner, dancing and the works!

Benjamin didn't want to dance with Abby, but her cousin Jacob did! And he was sooo good! I wish I had video of it!

Cutting the Cake! Don't they look happy?! Congrats you two!

It's Official!

Isaac Graduated! He is now a Master of Business Administration! Yep, he has his MBA! I don't know how he did it, but he did! He said he would do it before he was 30 and he did! He officially graduated on August 31 a few weeks ago. There was no ceremony unfortunately, the University of Phoenix only does ceremonies once a year and he just missed it by a month or two, and the thought of waiting a whole year just for a "ceremony" is not appealing, so no ceremony, but here is the degree! He did it! He's been in the Bishopric the whole time, worked full time, did lots and lots of homework and studying and still found time to help me around the house, he's pretty darn close to the perfect man! I just love him! Congratulations mi Amor! You are my hero!

Thanksgiving Point Farm Country

Well, there was a 5th Tuesday in August so we took advantage of one last $2 Tuesday and went to the Farm country! We went with My friend Melissa and her two kids. Can you believe these kids are half Chilean?! Anyway, our boys are good friends and all though our girls are a bit distant in age they just adore each other, so we had a blast!

Feeding the goats (they have a lot more animals than this, I just forgot to take pictures)

Posing on the plastic sheep

Playing in the little buildings

They have a building where the kids can go in and learn all about farms! The kids really like sitting on the "tractors" and pretending to be Grandpa Gary!

And we ended with a Pony ride!

"Hi!"
