Zipping Past our House!

 Well, If you live or have driven in Utah County you have probably seen these adds for the Frontrunner going south to Provo.  We sure have.  And we have seen it going past our house several times.  Our house is right by the train tracks.  Benjamin LOVES that aspect!  We almost did not buy the house because of it.  But luckily the house was built very well and when the windows and doors are closed you can hardly notice any train go by.  But today Frontrunner stopped right in front of our house!  The kids were super excited!  And they cant wait for it to open to the public so that we can ride it.  We have a station walking distance from our house!  Exciting stuff going on down here in Utah County!

4th of July

This 4th of July we had lots of fun. Isaac's Sister Pati and her kids were in town and my kids always have so much fun with them. We spent the day before with them and Benjamin spent the night at Nena's house (where they were staying) for his first sleep over!  He was super excited about it and Grandmas's house is a great place for a  first sleepover.  So on the 4th Benjamin got up early with his cousins and went to see the Hot Air Balloons take off!  Followed by the Parade!  Abby, Isaac & I joined them later for the Freedom Festival, where they did lots of fun stuff!  We saw dancers and the kids jumped in the Bounce houses and did crafts and watched the Reptile show!  We also got free ice-cream!

They also had girls from a Beauty School there doing hair!  Abby and I both got our hair done!

Afterward we went back to Nena's house and had a BBQ!  My handsome Grill Master!

Then we went back to Provo for Fireworks!

Lehi Roundup Days!

 We just love Lehi Roundup Days!  This year Pati was in town again for it!  And the Budd's joined us as well.  Here we all are.  It started this morning with the Parade!  Then we headed over to Wines Park for the Family Fun Day.  Below, are a couple of the Floats in the Parade.

 They always have a ton of inflatable bounce houses and slides but the favorite ride is always the Train!

June Pre-school Outings

Well, this summer we are doing our Pre-school summer activities again.  This year I am the one "in charge" and organizing the activities.  So some of them are repeats from last year, but just because they were so fun last year!

Week one we went to the BYU Planetarium.  I totally forgot to take pictures!  It was a blast and afterward we went to the BYU Creamery for lunch and ice-cream!

Week 2 we went to Glen Park in Highland!  We had lunch, fed the ducks and the kids rode their bikes around and around the Pond!  Fun Day!

Week 3 we went Bowling at Jack & Jill Lanes in Lehi.  This was super fun and super cheap, but I completely forgot my camera.  But we did it last year and I have pictures from that.  Super fun day as well!

Week 4 we went to the Splash Pad in Highland.  We brought our chairs and umbrellas, lunch and had a blast!
