Free Zoo Day!

The Last Wednesday of all four winter months, the Zoo has a free day! Well the last Wednesday in Feb. was a beautiful warm day in the 60's!  So we just had to go!  And so did the rest of Utah!  It was crowded!  But we had fun anyway!  Especially when we got to go with our favorite friends, Yadira and her kids!

Abby Turns 5!

Happy Birthday to my Beautiful, sweet, smart, dramatic, wonderful girl Abby!

We had a super fun My Little Pony party!  We had an activity from each Pony, Lunch, a Pinata, Cake and lots of fun!

First activity was "Hoof" Painting.  The girls got their nails painted rainbow colors!

The next activity was that the girls had to guess how many candies were in each jar.  Closest one wins the little jar of candy!

Then we had Lunch!  Pizza!  Abby's Favorite!

After lunch was our first activity!  I hid ring pops all around the clubhouse and the girls had to find them, and they got to keep them!  (Kind of like and Easter Egg Hunt!)

Next game!  Just like it says!

This game is just like Hot Potato but with an apple and we used MLP music!  (Another idea is bobbing for apples but since it was Feb. and we were indoors we did this instead)

Last we played this game. (Since Fluttershy loves animals)  I was originally going to have each of the girls act out an animal and the rest guess, but we were running low on time so we let fun Uncle Allan, act out the animals and the girls had a blast trying to guess!

I made 6 different kinds of cupcakes. One to represent each Pony.  Can you guess, which cupcake goes with which Pony?

Escuelita Adventures

We had a few fun adventures at Escuelita this past month. First of all we ended our Reptile month of January with a field trip to the Dinosaur Museum!  It was fun!

Next, I wanted to share my Train Class!  It was fun and I even got to bring out the old box train from Benji's 3 year birthday!

We even made a train with our snack!

And Finally, here are pics from our Valentine's Party.  We had it in the play place at Del Taco!  Mostly we had lunch, let the kids play, decorate bags, decorate cookies, and finally exchanged Valentines.  Simple, and low maintenance!  Just what we needed!  And the kids loved it!
